This mask helps reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, uneven skin tone, and texture for smoother, healthier, and younger-looking skin. A botanical blend helps replenish, nourish, and moisturize skin, while kaolin clay and magnesium sulfate help open pores and draw out impurities in an invigorating flash of heat.
The Heat Mask is targeted towards all skin types to fight dullness, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and dehydrated skin.
What is it?
Formulated with mineral-rich Hungarian Thermal Water, a ridiculously dreamy blend of Sunflower, Jojoba, Peach, Apricot and Rosehip oils, Shea Butter and Pomegranate extract, GATULINE® RC (a beech tree bud extract) and, lastly, Kaolin Clay and Magnesium Sulfate. It certainly sounds like it is packed to the brim with gorgeous ingredients, but do they translate into results?
Firstly, the packaging is beautiful – the best I’ve seen from PTR yet! The green to blue ombre and gold detailing is really eye-catching and conjures images of clear, fresh waters and bright refreshed skin. The mask itself is quite a unique balm-like consistency, that needs a little warming up between the fingers before it can be spread across the face. There isn’t any remarkable or irritating fragrance.
After the mask has warmed up on your skin, it is very easy to spread and feels really soft and buttery on the skin. The directions state to leave the mask on for 3 minutes, and then, with wet fingertips, to massage in to activate the heating sensation. Once the heating has ceased, you then rinse off.
After the mask, skin feels and looks brighter
I love the way this mask feels on the skin. The formula is velvety and is only improved by the heating factor, which really makes it a relaxing and soothing experience. My skin feels oh-so-soft and strokable after the mask has been washed off. My complexion is really bright and looking happy with a healthy glow. I definitely noticed a difference in hydration level of my skin. My skin looked and felt nourished and plump. After a handful of uses, I can’t say that I noticed any change in fine lines or wrinkles, but I honestly wouldn’t expect to in such a short time and from the use of a mask alone.
To summarise, I really enjoy using this mask. I love the way it feels both while it is on the skin and afterwards. It is a quick mask to use and would be ideal to give your skin a glowy, healthy look before an event when you are in a pinch. The jar itself is quite large, and needing only a small amount for each application, I would imagine it to last for quite a while. I have nothing negative to say about the Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask (Well, maybe a shorter name? ;))
Does this mask sound like a winner to you?

February was fun, I discovered so so so many new products. I was lucky enough to attend a Sephora Showcase which introduced me to so many new and exciting releases. Although I haven’t had the chance to give everything a try, this favourites post features quite a lot of the products, as I am sure a lot more of my posts will. I also de-cluttered my collection and rediscovered a couple of old favourites as well.
This little device is new at Beauty Bender HQ but it has been a lifesaver. As a fake-tan lover and a fan of laser hair removal, the body brushes on this bad boy have been getting a work out to say the least. It exfoliates the skin like a dream and removes all evidence of old fake tan. The two different brush heads are great for the different areas of the body and make for a handy shower device. The epilator head however isn’t my favourite. I have used it just the once, and found a quite painful. But alas, I will continue to persevere before making my mind up.
As a teenager, this little compact was my ride or die. I loved the sheen that it added to my cheeks, but somewhere along the way it was forgotten about. I have re-discovered it lately, and man, I have fallen back in love. I have been using the Bronze Patrol almost daily to add a gorgeous healthy, bronzed glow to my face to make the most of the remaining days of Summer. It looks heavenly on sunkissed skin, it just adds the most beautiful highlight and sheen, as well as a touch of colour.
This has been a handbag staple. I already have a long-lasting love affair with blotting papers and mattifying powders but Tarte has changed the game with Blot Party by combining the two in a pretty little compact. Not only is it adorable, it is so practical. It has been a saviour in the February heat and my oil has been under control like never before . This little guys, as well as the rest of the Athleisure collection will be dropping in Sephora shortly, but it is unfortunately limited edition.
Rimmel make damn good lipsticks. They’re easily comparable to high end brands, if not even better. The formulas are always creamy, never drying, pigmented and smell delicious. The Only 1 Matte collection is in my opinion the best range yet. The formula is so smooth and even though it is matte, they do not dry out the lips. The shades are STUNNING. Longevity and wear is great. I really cannot fault them. I particularly love the shades Salute (nude pink), High Flyer (dusty mauve) and Call The Shots (Fuschia).
My obsession with SHU is real. The packaging is oh-so kawaii and the products are such incredible quality. These gorgeous Neon Balms were created to express blossoming beginnings in the new Chinese New Year. Just the sight of these bullets and the colour of the balms make my heart sing. The balms provide a beautiful sheen and slight colour to the lips, along with long lasting hydration. I have been loving these little guys for everday wear and they have been living in my purse since I got them.
This little pink guy caught my eye the moment the lovely Georgia from WithGoodFace started to post about it on her feed. Just something about the fluoro colour and the way it resembled a highlighter just screamed ‘buy me, buy me’. I needed this quirky little dude in my collection and when I found out Mecca stocked Chosungah22, I was sold. The applicator looks a little funny, but surprisngly enough, works really well. The sponge applies the product well and it easily manoeuvred, whiole the brush is perfect to brush and set the brows in place. I have the colour Grey Brown which is so perfect for me. I LOVE this brow product and sort of want all the colour because I love the packaging to much, hehe. I also want to try a few more Chosungah22 products to see if the high-quality is consistent.
Guys, Anastasia singles are finally available in Australia. Praise baby cheeses! If you’ve ever used an ABH palette you would know that her shadows are the ultimate formula. They are just so pigmented, soft and blendable. The colour range is huge and formula is pretty damn consistent across the board. These singles allow you to pick and chose what you want in your own palette and give you a little bit of creative control. The finishes range from matte, satins, shimmers and metallics and are in incredibly versatile shades. The empty quads are so inexpensive ($7!), but look so luxe. The quads are ideal for travel and my particular shades work really well for everyday looks or something a little bit more glam. I am dying to get my hot little hands on a few more singles.
These brand newies from Makeup Forever as so exciting. Both products are created to nourish the skin and lips to allow for the smoothest and most flawless makeup application possible. The Lip Booster is a super hydrating, buttery feeling balm/gloss hybrid that can be worn alone for a slight kiss of colour and hydration, or used as a primer/serum type product to prepare your lips for liquid lipstick. I prefer the former. It adds a gorgeous pink sheen and just delivers the most beautiful boost of hydration. LOVE , LOVE, LOVE! The second part to this collection is the Skin Booster. This little gem adds moisture, radiance and luminosity to the skin, while still being light and easily absorbed. This can be used as a regular serum or mixed into your foundation to great a beautiful glowy effect. I have been using this little baby both way, and I simply adore it. Both of these will be dropping at Sephora AU in the coming months.
Yet another lip product, must have had a thing for them this month. But this little guy only just snuck in because I’ve only been using it for maybe a week. The Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lip Colours are new additions to the Revlon line and will be permanent fixtures. Housed in a gorgeous little metallic tube, these are super easy to apply and so easy to wear. The gel formula is creamy, pigmented and super comfortable. They are light, a little glossy and relatively long wearing for this kind of product. Plus they smell like lollies and it makes me of want to eat it a little bit, haha. They also contain hylaluronic acid to ensure those smoochers are kept hydrated and plump. These are dropping at the end of the month in Priceline and elsewhere in March. I am really looking forward to getting my mitts on some more shades.
I have finally found my ultimate makeup remover wipes. The little guys are gentle but remove makeup so well. They are full of gorgeous, nourishing ingredients like rosehip and almond oil and aloe vera. Plus it they don’t contain alcohol, parabens and artificial fragrance. They don’t leave any residue or sticky feel and they don’t sting my eyeballs or leave a disgusting taste on my lips. Not do they dry out my skin. I have packets of WotNot facial wipes stashed all over the place – in the car, handbag, makeup vanity or anywhere that I would need a little freshen up.
This moisturiser is just gorgeous. Full of high-quality, nourishing ingredients, Ellier Olive Oil Moisturiser absorbs quickly and leaves me skin feeling silky smooth. It doesn’t increase oil production and doesn’t make my skin shiny. I love the natural ingredients and the way it makes my skin look and feel. It is simple, no fuss and I love it.
I don’t need to go into more detail about NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer than I already have. But It wouldn’t be an exhaustive list of my monthly faves without a mention. I love this little all-rounder and it is definitely my favourite concealer thus far.
